The all blue feathers are from Hyacinth Macaws killed to make the headdress. The red and blue feathers are from Red & Green (Green-winged) Macaws. The green and yellow-green feathers are from tails of Blue-fronted Parrots. The Large black and gray feathers are from a large raptor (possibly a Harpy Eagle).

Many other similar designs were seen in Brazil's Pantanal.
