May be made of your bird or any subject of your choosing using a photo or sketch. First example is using a sketch. The second example uses an image from a painting. (Artist's permission required.) Third and forth items fused glass. The finished items are in fused glass. Your Bird (or other pet) deeply carved in glass! It takes thousands of dollars worth of special equipment, hours on the computer and hours of hard work in the workshop to produce these custom glass carvings of your animal, your classic car, etc.. Typically, I can do 1 to 1 ½ in one weekend if I get up at 5 AM and work hard and late. The results are never quite perfect. There will be some unwanted scratches, some areas were the dept of carving is not ideal, an area where the glass gets blasted a bit out of place. These imperfections are typical for custom, one of a kind works of glass art. Many feel that it is these imperfections that set such work apart from mass produced works done by a computer and laser. Atypical project is done on glass ¼” in thickness and 12 by 12” in size. These pieces are best displayed on heavy bases with built in lights. I can supply such custom bases of exotic wood and equipped with a strip of LED lights. These projects are not done for profit. If they were, I would have to charge between $750 and $1,500 per piece. They are done for pleasure and to help justify my investments in the technology to make them. i A nonprofit foundation incorporated in 1991 with the goal of preserving Bird Training
